Firm description: bhdp began when Cyrus L. Baxter parlayed an association with Cincinnati Milacron into his own architect business in 1937. In his first few years, close to 90% of his work was for Milacron. Over the next seven, he demonstrated an uncanny ability in assessing talent when he hired Jack Hodell, Jim Donnelly and Jim Preston. Each had graduated with distinction and went on to show an artful affinity for the business and for Cy. The cadre was complete and, in 1960, they combined their names to make Baxter, Hodell, Donnelly, and Preston, Inc. |
